E-Complish Passes Annual PCI Level 1 Certification

Baltimore, Maryland – February 26th, 2014: E-Complish is proud to announce that they have again passed the annual PCI audit for Level 1 Certification, ensuring their payment systems are secure and reliable. Adhering to all applicable security standards since 1998, the audit confirms that year-by-year E-Complish strives to make its payment systems the most secure in the business.
In a cooperative effort between Visa and MasterCard to create an industry standard for card-payment security, the PCI-DSS Certification was mandated in 2004 to protect customers. The Level 1 Certification applies to providers who store, process, or transmit over one million card transactions each year, or providers that Visa, at its sole discretion, determines should meet it. Any provider adhering to PCI standards must have their data’s PCI security assessed by a qualified security assessor annually, and must have their network scanned quarterly by an approved scanning vendor.
