As a founder of E-Complish in 1998, Steve – not Stephen, (only his mom calls him Stephen when he is in trouble), founded E-Complish with just $100 and a dream! Steve’s idea was to automate the collection of payments without the huge overhead and time of personnel. Under his leadership, E-Complish has seen steady grown of at least 15-25% per year with absolutely no outside funding or debt. E-Complish is proud to say it is entirely organically grown and debt free! Steve is also proud to say that we still have our original client from 20+ years ago. This is a testament to Steve’s customer service ideology and overall business plan. Steve will tell you that as a plan of activities, his goal is to give the client exactly what they want and more with little to no setup costs. In Steve’s words, “this level of low-cost customization demonstrates that we put skin in the game and it’s like cutting off your arm to get rid of us.” That business model seems to have worked and provides a minimal attrition rate of 1-2% year over year for E-Complish. Clients just do not leave E-Complish, which is a great thing! Steve’s background is that of collections with no formal education. At the age of 17, Steve started his career as a debt collector and quickly moved up through the ranks to National Collection Manager overseeing a prestigious American Express Corporate and Citicorp Diner’s Club portfolio managing 20 employees. Steve became the most profitable collection group in company history (across multiple offices). Steve eventually started a collection firm and became frustrated with the fact that people just did not want to work or come into work. Boom! The idea was sprung to automate payments without the hassles of non-working employees. The rest is history. E-Complish is now a thriving business with high morals, ethics and more importantly, maintains the goal to treat others as you would like to be treated. Steve is now our resident expert on all things credit card and ACH. Additionally, Steve has taken on the role of Chief Security Officer for E-Complish. He oversees all system security, audits and third-party audits to keep E-Complish Level 1 PCI Compliant at all times. Thanks, Steve, we look forward to another 20+ years and more bonuses!

After serving in the United States Army, and earning an advanced degree in National Security Issues, Greg began his civilian career as a commercial banker with one of the leading regional banking institutions. From there Greg made his way to a top ten national bank where he was responsible for moving financial products from brick and mortar to an internet presence. One of his most exciting accomplishments was the development of the first uniquely Hispanic banking website. Seeing the rewards in a calculated risk, Greg ventured out on his own and opened his marketing firm. Here he specialized in supporting the small lenders market to expand their brand and move their financial products to the internet. After several successful years, Greg was hired as E-Commerce Director to design and implement a regional lender’s e-commerce offerings and increase the company’s online bill payments. As a former client to E-Complish, Greg brought on E-Complish to take his ideas and make them a reality. With the support of E-Complish, Greg achieved double-digit growth for online payments, and significantly reduced overhead costs to the company in the process. Having become a huge fan of E-Complish, Greg saw an opportunity to “Ride the E-Complish Rocket” and moved up in the ranks to become our Vice President of Compliance and Customer Service. Greg brings a unique perspective as both a former customer of E-Complish and now spearheading Client Projects and Support as well as keeping E-Complish compliant with PCI-DSS, NACHA, and more. In Greg’s words, Greg would describe his duties as “ensuring the client comes first by meeting and exceeding their needs in a timely fashion. Let’s be honest, we are talking about client money here so be it a major project, or simple question, we treat our clients as our partners.” We could not have said it better Greg! Always willing to evangelize E-Complish’s exceptional abilities and unique business philosophy, Greg believes E-Complish provides our clients the tools to experience success, and in turn, E-Complish will share in that success. Hooah Greg!

Groomed in the credit and collection industry since 1990, Marc quickly advanced into credit and collection management with a large Cable Television provider serving the Washington, DC area. During his 11 years, Marc managed all bad debt and boasted an industry low of less than two percent bad debt write-off nationwide. Marc was instrumental in training the Cable Television industry that increased recovery, reduced write-offs and maintained subscriber base. Southwestern Bell, (now AT&T), took note of Marc’s tenacity. Marc was hired to start up the credit and collection department for their subsidiary, OnePoint Communication, (now Verizon Avenue – a division of Verizon). From the ground up, Marc developed all policies and procedures, (including hiring and training), with the primary goal of maintaining an active and growing subscriber base. A little-known fact… During Marc’s tenure with OnePoint Communications, Marc decided to bring on a young payment processing company called E-Complish, (yes, us!). Working together, we developed one of the very first payment processing Interactive Voice Response (IVR), systems within Verizon. The IVR was obviously a great success! Seeing first hand the successes of the E-Complish payment systems and its growth, Marc had a stroke of genius and joined us 18+ years ago 🙂 Marc is directly responsible for co-development of all of the E-Complish product and services we provide today. Marc manages the E-Complish sales team and development of strategic business relationships. With Marc’s experience as a former client of E-Complish, he has been instrumental in generating millions in product development and client sales.

Vice President of Information Systems

Vice President of Information Systems
Starting from an early age, Jason has always been involved in programming and technology. Since the wee age of 10, Jason has been ‘nerding it up’ writing programs. As a young Canadian lad, Jason completed high school as the top student in computers and fine-tuned his programming skills in University. Programming and programming languages, (of which he knows 32, yes 32), has always been a passion and a deep interest to him. After several technical jobs, he was eventually head-hunted and swooped up by one of Canada’s top Payment Gateway companies and promoted through the ranks to Senior Java Programmer level. After working in the payment industry for many years, Jason came to his senses and accepted a full-time position with E-Complish more than a decade ago. Now, as the Vice President of Information Systems, Jason covers many tasks, from high-level project design and architecture, down to ‘tough-to-solve’ low-level programming issues with devices or APIs, (and everything in between). Jason has been working with E-Complish since the early days of online payment processing and he has adapted and invented many new methods of payment capture. Jason, (whom we affectionately call Boy Wonder), is directly responsible for E-Complish’s growth. In all the years at E-Complish, there has literally never been a system integration too hard or large for Jason, of which there are many. With Jason having our backs, we are excited and motivated for both the future of the company and his future ideas and technologies.

Vice President of Development & Design

Vice President of Development & Design
From an early age, Matt was always fascinated by design and creativity and used the two as a means to communicate ideas and thoughts. He spent his formative years on computers, learning, drawing, designing, and creating. Editor’s Note: Matt did not do as much “nerding out” as his brother Jason. Yes, Jason and Matt are brothers, (whether they admit it or not). Matt was more into the “how do things work” mindset with an artist’s flair. Matt studied Computer Science throughout high school and Graphic Design and Software Development in College with the goal of applying that knowledge in a professional capacity. Matt has undoubtedly met his goal and is now an integral part of the “E-Complish Machine.” As one of the youngest executive members at E-Complish, Matt uses his computer and creative design expertise to, (in his words) “give our clients exactly what they want, using creativity to deliver functional, modern tools that look good and just work.” Matt gets very jazzed knowing that solutions he helped create are used by literally millions of consumers. To say we are very proud of Matt and his accomplishments is a massive understatement. We know he is proud to be part of a creative team building systems that have a purpose and fulfill a need. If you talk to Matt, you may pick up on the fact that he is originally from Canada and says “you betcha,” but we love our whacky Canadian brothers in Matt and Jason.

Chief Financial Officer

Chief Financial Officer
Angie (as she likes to be called), came to E-Complish in 2019 with more than 20 years of experience managing Accounts Receivable & Payables, Payroll, Managerial Accounting, Cash Management, Budgeting & Projections, Financial Planning, and Accounting Process and Control Development as it applies to a SOC Type II. If you talk with Angie, you will always end the conversation with a smile knowing that she is on top of it and enjoys her work. With that said, Angie loves trips to the beach, going on hikes, drawing & painting, reading, and of all things, listening to Frank Sinatra on rainy and snowy days (it reminds her of Grandma (aw shucks). We think Angie should go on a hike to the beach, do a little reading and draw & paint Frank Sinatra. She would be in heaven!
Thank You Angie for being your “bestest at your mostest!”
